I live about fifteen minutes from Byron Bay and forty-five minutes from Gold Coast’s south. This puts me right in the heart of some of, in my opinion, the most beautiful spas and salons to treat yourself to the ultimate self-care.

As someone who lives an erratic schedule that changes week on week, I rely so much on a list of places where I can retreat for some time-out.

Here are a handful of my go-to spots for self-care:

1. Little Company, Byron Bay.
Anywhere with a holistic, simple approach to skin care gets an immediate tick in my book. And Little Company just nails it, forever my go-to for facials in Byron Bay. Similarly to Hustl, LTCO categorises their treatments under two styles Ritual and Remedy – one is comprehensive and deeply nourishing, and the other is focused on renewing more than your skin, it’s about soundscapes, scents and lighting. Truly an incredible experience, highly recommend.

2. Comma, Byron Bay.
Located two doors down from our Byron Bay studio is this little slice of heaven, otherwise known as an escape from the everyday. Everything kind of slows down once you enter the doors at Comma, with their idea of the sublime in stillness – ‘amidst the clamour of modern life, time is our greatest currency’. They deliver signature massage therapies that are carefully considered and intuitively delivered. Sign me up.

3. Ground, Currumbin.
This absolute haven, set amongst rainforest in front of a restored 100 year old farmhouse, enjoy hot tubs, spas, plunge pools and saunas in a lush outdoor setting. Enjoy with friends or lap it up all for yourself in a completely solo experience.

4. Kalm Springs, Casuarina.
Relax, heal and exhale with the lovely ladies at the indulgent sanctuary that is
Kalm Springs. Providing a wide range of self-love treatments like float therapy, infrared saunas, LED light therapy and so much more. What I love most about this space is you can spend a while or be in and out in 30 minutes, either is time well invested and will help you rest.
