The New Year is just around the corner and as cliche as it is, I love to use this time of year as an opportunity to realign and reassess my goals. There is something about the start of the new year that sparks enthusiasm and momentum to truly work on yourself.

Manifesting and goal setting is something I feel SO passionately about, I honestly do believe it can have such a powerful impact on your life. So, to celebrate and prepare for the new year ahead, I am sharing a few of my favourite goal setting tips for you to take into 2023.

What Motivates You?
It is so important to pick goals that actually inspire you, and leave you feeling excited, motivated and passionate. When you have an emotional attachment to your goals & visions they become so much more meaningful and you are more likely to accomplish them. Focus less on the goals that society leads you into believing you SHOULD be achieving and instead put more energy into the goals you genuinely WANT to fulfil.

Create A Vision Board: Be Specific.
If your goals are too general, there is more room for failure. Being specific will create more guidance & structure and make the goal more attainable. I love to create vision boards on Pinterest as it allows me to stay focused and inspired. They are also a great tool to look back on in the future and appreciate how far you have come and to acknowledge what you have achieved. Goals can absolutely change shape over time, so don’t be afraid to revisit your vision board and make any necessary updates.

Identify Obstacles.
Break down your goals into tangible steps, recognise and acknowledge any hurdles you may need to overcome, and your goals will become easier to accomplish when you work on smaller parts at a time. Establishing time frames for each section of the goal will also help in providing an achievable structure.

Regularly Check In.
Don’t wait until the end of the year to revisit your goals - schedule in regular check ups, whether that is weekly, monthly or bi-monthly, use these time frames as an opportunity to review your progress, make any necessary adjustments and decide whether your goals are still realistic and important to you.

I love the new year, it always feels like a fresh start. I don’t put a lot of focus in goal making but I make my intentions for the year and focus of the person I want to embody. I came across my last years intentions and after seeing those I was so happy with how my year turned out
