5 minutes is all you need to make the perfect savoury snack for those days where you're craving a little something extra in between meals.

400g can chickpeas, rinsed, drained
1 tbs extra-virgin olive oil
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground paprika
1. Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Place chickpeas on a plate lined with paper towel to remove all excess moisture (this helps for extra crispy chickpeas).
2. Combine the drained chickpeas, olive oil and spices in a medium bowl and stir to combine.
3. Spread chickpeas on prepared tray and roast in oven for 30 minutes, stirring chickpeas every 10 minutes, or until golden and crisp. Sprinkle with sea salt. Let cool, then store in an airtight container.
TIP: For a sweet version, swap the olive oil and spices with 2 tsp good quality honey and 1 tsp ground cinnamon.
