5 MIN CHOC BANANA PANCAKES.

All it takes is 5 minutes to whip up the easiest batch of chocolate banana pancakes that are equal parts healthy and delicious. Eat for breakfast, lunch or dinner, who am I to judge. 

 

Serves 2
Prep: 5 min
Cook: 5 min

Ingredients.

1 banana

2 eggs

75g (½ cup) wholemeal spelt or buckwheat flour

60ml (¼ cup) milk of choice

2 tsp cocoa powder

2 tbs natural yoghurt

Fresh or frozen berries (thawed), to serve

 

Method.

1. Process banana, egg, flour and cocoa powder in a small food processor until smooth.

2. Lightly spray a medium non-stick frying pan over medium heat. spoon 60ml (¼ cup) of batter into pan and cook until bubbles appear on surface, about 1-2 minutes. carefully turn and cook for 1-2 minutes further or until golden. Repeat to make 4 pancakes.

3. Serve pancakes topped with yoghurt and berries.
